Just another quick reminder, to get the XML-RSS subscription to this site as well as thousands more (in other words, have my posts shot straight to your desktop as soon as I publish them), download the free AmphetaDesk aggregator, click on the plain orange XML button on the left bar of my screen, and paste that URL into the "Add Channels" box in AmphetaDesk.

Clear as mud?  Good!

I'd assume this also works with www.newsisfree.com, so if you prefer that interface to the (admittedly) bland Amphetadesk, you can go with that.

This is a bit of an odd time for me to launch, seeing as the next few days will see most of my thought directed to the two journalism projects I've left to be completed, but there will be periodic updates spliced in between the two.

My first final was Wednesday in early modern philosophy, where I needed a better grade to bump up the C I got on the midterm.

I didn't get it.

I was completely baffled by the Kant essay, which was 5 points out of 40 down the drain right out of the gate, and I could muster only a skeletal answer to the Berkeley essay.  I think I got Hume; of course, I'm sure that's partly due to me attending all the classes on Hume..(hmm...).  So that's giong to be iffy.

Fortunately, I did get a B+ on the Hume paper I did, which I initially thought was not very good, (and I still don't think it was very good, either, but I convinced the prof enough to warrant a respectable grade on it.)
