Christian hospitality When I was a kid, I loved Vacation Bible School. My parents changed churches when I was around 12 years old, but their previous church had their VBS in the evening, and one of my friend's churches had theirs in the morning, so when the two happened to fall on the same week, I could hit two VBS's in one day.
I'm sure everyone also remembers those recess breaks you got during VBS service; you know, where the parents fed you junk food (primarily) and you went out to play. One morning, when I was in 4th grade or so, I realized upon going out to the playground that I had forgotten my baseball glove, certainly disadvantagous considering baseball was usually the order of the day during the recess break at this church.
Now, even at this stage I was already developing into being completely antisocial except for the few people my age whom I kept around. So it was a concern to me that I didn't have a glove and was going to have to ask someone else if I could borrow his. But I had some unusual comfort about my predicament. You see, I reasoned to myself, I was at church and certainly people at church would be kind and gladly lend me their glove if I asked them..
Oh, how the times change you.

More things lost in space... If all the news about Galileo has made you curious about space exploration (it has me, anyway) you can check out NASA's Cassini-Huggens mission to Saturn.
Upon closer look, you can see that it hasn't actually made it to Saturn yet. Slackers <g> It's not like there's a speed limit up there or anything. :D
