"The board is set, the pieces are moving"

Return of the King trailer

It's going to be a wonderful three and a half hours on December 17th.  I'm going to walk, if I have to.  <g>

Boy, is it ever Monday

What kind of a travesty is this?  Rob has been out-posting me of late.

The first official Return of the King trailer hits the web later today; it debuted in theaters this weekend with the New Line film "Secondhand Lions."  I'm sure I'll have comments later today.  <g>

I've been dropping the ball big-time so far in my newspaper reporting class.  Our instructor has allowed us to pick "beats" to cover this semester, and I chose campus religion as mine.  The problem has been, she hasn't given us very specific instructions at all, and since everyone's beat reacts very differently depending on the assignment, it's been hard to really get a grip on what I need to do.  Plus, campus religion is a huge and varied topic, and it's hard to really get a grip on absolutely everything, which makes the introductory story I'm supposed to do for this Wednesday all the more difficult.

I'm hoping, at least, that as the semester proceeds, it won't be nearly as difficult to get my hands around it.

Anyway, it's definitely not a good thing for a would-be newspaper reporter to be blowing it in his newspaper class.  I have to get it in gear.
