David Hoggard's take on local politics and life in general from Greensboro, NC

Monday, August 08, 2005

I find it interesting that no one from the N&R has yet decided to defend the paper's decision to 'out' potential donors/partners for our long-planned Civil Rights Museum.  It is my understanding that much of the paper's 'Town Square' initiative is predicated on open lines of communication.  Well the lines are open, guys.

The comments to yesterday's post questioning the decision is running about half for and half against our 'right to know' about the public/private information that Sit-In Movement, Inc. officials half-heartedly intended to keep under wraps until the deals were done.  But despite the fact that just about the entire staff at the N&R makes the daily rounds of many local weblogs and are frequent commenters herein, none have weighed in on this subject as of yet.
