Rob Gordon played by John Cusack [posted by Troy]
Hey, I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I'm certainly not the dumbest. I mean, I've read books like "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and "Love in the Time of Cholera", and I think I've understood them. They're about girls, right? Just kidding. But I have to say my all-time favorite book is Johnny Cash's autobiography "Cash" by Johnny Cash.”

I finally saw Walk the Line, and it make me think of this quote from High Fidelity.

We can only hope [posted by Troy]
This NPR piece talks about the romantic comedy genre, which is a genre that I have see much of over the last four years or so. Anyway, one of the points to this NPR piece is that hollywood has done SO many romantic comedies that we know the story line, so they have to try all kinds of crazy twists to make them interesting. It's old, tired, we've been there, seen that.
