Supreme Court [posted by ZelderBar] I don't know if you are paying attention to today's Supreme Court arguments about the use of military tribunals. If not, you may want to listen to this NPR piece, Supreme Court Questions Military Trials for Detainees, which is a good summary. They Justices will be trying to answer some important questions. For instance, does the "War on Terror" count as a real war? Can the president just set up tribunals anywhere and try people without formally charging them? And, probably most importantly, how many human rights will our country sacrafice in the name of fear?
