CBC Deal Reached
(G & M) - CBC management and the Canadian Media Guild struck an agreement early Monday morning which is expected to end the lockout of 5,500 staff in the coming days.

Dinner Guests
Last night we had the designer and contractor who worked on our house over for dinner. I've been meaning to do this for months, but it's been such a busy summer and fall that it just kept getting put off. We made Thai food, and it turned out to be quite tasty, except for a rice and mango dessert that I didn't much care for.
I can't believe it's already Monday morning. The week-end flew by, without me doing a touch of harmony homework. Yikes! It's going to be a long night tonight.
