Exhausted
It's Sunday night, and I think this is the first time all week-end I've had a chance to sit and catch my breath. Friends of ours are up from Victoria clearing out and selling their Whitehorse home. They've been having a giant garage sale all week-end, and we've been helping. I couldn't believe how much stuff they had!! They got rid of a lot of it, but there's still quite a bit left. I offered to take the remains to consignment stores and second hand shops, with the rest going to the Salvation Army.
I did take some time out this afternoon to make pumpkin and apple pies for tomorrow's dinner. We're having a very traditional meal: turkey with all the trimmings. Four friends are joining us and in spite of being tired, I'm really looking forward to spending time with them.
