Nutcracker Madness
Iris has her roles for this year's Nutcracker performance, and she is going to be danced off her feet! Not only is she the understudy for Fritz, but she also is the Harlequin Doll, a Rat, one of the Snowflakes, and is dancing in Waltz of the Flowers, Spanish and Arabian. I have no idea why they have decided to give her so many roles, but it's going to be nuts (excuse the bad pun) around here for the next couple of months with all those rehearsals. Thank goodness we're only 10 minutes away from the studio.
Star Gazing
Jamie is having a 'two in one' day at school. He'll have a normal day, come home for an hour or so, and then go back to school for an evening of astronomy and star gazing. I'm going to tag along for part of the time. They're doing some really neat things in his class this year, and he seems quite content to go off to school (unlike last year).
