Tragic News
I arrived at work today to learn that the son of a co-worker of mine died last night. He was only a couple of years older than Alan. What can I possibly say to this co-worker that can ease his pain in any way? I'm totally at a loss.
We were supposed to have our staff Christmas party tomorrow night. Obviously that has been cancelled. At least some small good will come of it though....we've donated the food for the meal to the Salvation Army.
I'll stop for now. I want to go hug my kids.
