Wednesday, November 24th Happy pre-Thanksgiving Day to you!
After hitting the road today in Oshkosh, WI, I discovered I had caught a cold. I used at least one-half of a kleenex box all the way to Omaha, NE! As a result I'm kinda shot.
Tony Snow (national talk show host) had a great news story about our troops starting a process that would help a baby girl find medical treatment for a life-threatening condition she had. In fact, after Iraqi doctors told him to take her home so that she could die, he risked his reputation and life and asked the US troops to help. Now the little girl and her father are in America (temporary visa) and her medical operations have all gone well. It just sends tingles through me as I think that this country really does go to the aid of people around the world. We should hear more of these invigorating stories!
My wife is so proud. One of our TV's is not hooked up to cable. However, to get good reception, you need the roof antennae connection. The TV and the antennae cord are in two separate rooms. So, my wife bought an antennae cable cord connector and hooked everything together. You go girl!
Well, time to rest up for tomorrow.
