Book Reviews from Investigate a Good Book participants
Glorious Stew by Dorothy Ivens: A well written cookbook for the first time cook.
A New Song by Jan Karon: This book is much darker than others in the series, but also more moving. The At Home in Mitford series is refreshing, touching on serious subjects without glorified sex or violence. Great Read!
Art of fruit cookery by Stella Standard: Not the kind of cook I was looking for.
Handmaiden's Necklace by Kat Martin: Witty, romantic, exciting. Excellent writing.
The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman: I liked the book, but it was a little dark and strange. If you like that type of book then this is a good one for you!
Bride's Necklace by Kat Martin: Very good and humourous.
Hurricane Punch by Tim Dorsey: Interesting twist on a serial killer. The humor was slanted towards men. Serge offered just enough sanity to give the reader a connection with his insanity.
