Well, that was nice. We went to a wedding tonite. The reception was out in the countryside, and the weather didn't want to cooperate. The reception proper was in a pole barn with a large party tent in front of it, with about 250 folks altogether. Yes, it was a casual event, not an over-the-top princess-for-a-day thing. Even had a pig roast. The pulled pork BBQ sandwiches were gooooood. SHE and a friend had made the center pieces for the tables -- various wine bottles with custom labels (bride and groom's names, plus some yadda yadda) holding flowers (white tulips, roses and snap-dragons). Nothing too fancy, but just the right amount of oomph, without looking out of place in that locale. Not an easy thing to do, really. SHE fusses and frets over these sorts of things, but the results sure are fine. 11:19:50 PM [] blah blah blah'd on this
