Usual Suspects + Same Old Songs = One-Trick Ponies
Jeff asks a question about some odd personal habits exhibited by some people: Did you ever notice that the people who post negative reviews never use their real names? Why are they hiding? What are they afraid of? Do they really think anyone is going to give their anonymous comments the same weight as those posted under real names? Or not be able to make a better distinction between a product and the people behind it. Sure, there's an awful lot of DaveW in Frontier/Radio. But there's also a lot of Doug, Brent, Jake, Andre, Wes, BobB, and a lot of other folks from the community. It's not as black and white as some would like to claim. There are even some folks who seem to be able to wrest some of what they want from the product, even though there may some friction involved with certain individuals.

Corner turned. Roger that, team leader... For the last couple weeks I have caught myself reaching in the upper-right hand corner to switch apps on my own laptop, which I recently moved to OS X (with the dock at the bottom of the screen). Last night I was using SHE's toilet-seat iBook for some surfing, and reached for the dock at the bottom of the display to switch apps. Only catch was the OS on her machine is OS9.1...
