tiny rant I hate that I have to resort to reinstallation of the operating system at times. I hate that I have to reinstall all of the needed programs, that I have to search through all of my papers and email to find all of the activation codes. I've gotten better at keeping track of them, but there's always one that has been misplaced. On the other hand, it's interesting to note that I've moved almost all daily usage to the powerbook, so the set of programs I needed to install to support what I want to do was a lot smaller than it has been in the past. It's somewhat ironic that the last program I installed on my Windows box (the one I crashed and had to reinstall) was the new Windows version of iTunes.
It's also quite cool to be able to share music between the iTunes on my
Windows box and the iTunes on the powerbook. |
