Sue Casey, former Mayoral candidate and City Councilwoman, will be heading up Senator John Kerry's campaign in Colorado, according to the Denver Post [May 14, 2004, "Veteran Dem Susan Casey heads Kerry push in Colo."]. From the article, "Casey, 55, is expected to oversee all state campaign operations, including get-out-the-vote efforts, for Massachusetts' junior senator, said Kerry spokeswoman Laura Capps. A field director and other members of a Colorado team for Kerry's campaign will be announced next week, she added...Casey first worked in politics in 1980, organizing for Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy's campaign for the presidency. She also helped manage Colorado Sen. Gary Hart's presidential campaign in 1984, and former Nebraska Sen. Bob Kerrey's brief 1992 presidential campaign."
