Mike Miles' brother is currently serving in Iraq, according to the Colorado Daily. From the article, "Mike Miles, a Colorado Springs Democrat who is running for U.S. Senate, said his brother Lloyd is a colonel in the U.S. Army and is currently stationed in Iraq. 'He left in January, and I cautioned him not to ever get to the point where he saw the Iraqi people as animals,' said Miles Wednesday. 'I'm sure that my brother has not dehumanized them, but others have. I in no way think that what's going on in that prison is reflective of my brother or his soldiers, but I think there was a clear lack of leadership in the prison system.' Miles said the Bush administration 'made a mistake in invading Iraq,' and that Rumsfeld should resign. 'It's not just about the prisons,' said Miles. 'He's gotten all the premises wrong - the weapons of mass destruction, the U.S. being greeted as liberators, how many soldiers it would take for the operation and how democracy would spread in Iraq.
