Denver November 2004 Election
The two republicans that are hoping to win the nomination to run in November's election have agreed to two debates, according to the Rocky Mountain News [May 19, 2004, "Coors and Schaffer set to debate twice"]. From the article, "Schaffer and Coors will square off Monday at 9 a.m. on Fort Collins' KCOL radio. The station's Web site says the discussion topics will include American jobs being shipped overseas, the proposed constitutional amendment banning gay marriage and whether the war on terror is winnable. They'll head to Denver at 6:30 p.m. for the young Republicans debate, where audience members will submit questions. The event, at the Marriott at Interstate 25 and Hampden Avenue, is open to the public."
