2003 Denver Municipal Election

The Denver Post has organized some of their content around the elections for mayor, auditor, and city council. They also have a links to election issues on their politics news page under the heading "Denver Issues." I think that Coyote Gulch has missed some of what they've printed.

2003 Denver Election for Auditor

Dennis Gallagher is the subject of this in-depth article from the Denver Post. The Post quotes Gallagher, "The word auditor comes from the Latin word to listen, audire,' explained the longtime Regis University communications and classics professor who has served two terms on the Denver City Council. 'As auditor, I would have an open door to ask people to talk to me about problems in the city so we can nip them in the bud."

Debbie Ortega is highlighted in this article from the Denver Post. She is quoted as saying, "Both Federico Pena and Wellington Webb have called me in to note that I wasn't voting their way. That is how I have led, following my own path, never letting people tell me how to vote."
