2003 Denver Mayoral Election

Penfield Tate is highlighted in this in-depth look from the Rocky Mountain News. Tate is quoted as saying, "When I delegate, I can pick somebody and know what to look for in people who know how to do certain things, because I know how to do them ... and without micro-managing, I'll have a sense of whether it's being done correctly or not, because I know what to look for." The Rocky also has an interview with Tate and a short bio.

A short article on the state of the mayoral election from the Rocky Mountain News. Here's a shocker, Elizabeth Schlosser would drop out if she could move her votes to John Hickenlooper. That must be discouraging for her supporters.

John Hickenlooper has introduced his education plan. The Post quotes Hickenlooper as saying, "Quality education not only leads students to quality jobs, but it is a critical factor in the decisions of businesses on whether or not to relocate to or expand in Denver." The Rocky Mountain News has a short summary of Hickenlooper's plan.
