A backlash has started against Dallas based computer security firm Cigita after it published details of a security flaw in Microsoft’s new Visual C++ 7 and Visual C++.Net 7 compilers only hours after informing Microsoft. Some have suggested that the quick disclosure is in response to Microsoft rejecting them as source of outside security consulting.

The International Court of Justice, also known as the World Court ruled today that all serving ministers should be protected from prosecution as part of a decision concerned a former minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This decision effectively eliminates the possibility that Belgium will proceed with its prosecution of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The ruling is discussed in Ha’aretz and the Jerusalem Post.
