Two interesting submissions on the SecurityFocus site. The first is notice of a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Slash code, that among others runs the Slashdot.org. This problems exists in all verisions pirior to the February 7,2002 release. The second is a description of numerous deficiencies in a product by Cigital. The later information was release by a Microsoft senior security technologist , in a humorous attack on the people that discovered a "vulnerability" in its newly released Visual C++.Net compiler (Newsbyte Report, Bugtraq).
