Giant Glass Crystal Invades Toronto In an opinion piece, Ray Conlogue of the Globe and Mail takes issue with the Royal Ontario Museum’s (ROM) choice of the Daniel Libeskind's crystal-shard design for their addition by comparing it to a Godzilla like monster about to gobble up the ROM’s existing Edwardian stone rectangle. Meanwhile, the ROM, the Ontario Gallery of Art (AGO), a new Opera House appear to be winners in the chase for government money for their expansion or construction projects, while the ageing Casa Loma mansion loses out. 10:21:18 PM     Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon agreed to talks with the Palestinians without the required of a week free of violence as a requirement.
