Canucks in Battle

Canada’s troops in Afghanistan make international news with a lengthy article in Newsweek on the clean-up operations in Afghanistan’s Shahikot mountains.

A National Post report states that Canadian snipers had highest number of confirmed kills of any regular army unit during Operation Anaconda as they provided cover for U.S. 101st Airborne Division company.

Time.com has a series of maps in the boundaries of Israel and surrounding states since 1947. While ignoring Israel’s long biblical history these maps include one proposed during the Camp David II conference in 2000. This map clearly shows that Israel has prepared to make significant concessions to the Palestinians including a territorial contiguous state in the West Bank.
