Certified Flash MX Designer Exam Macromedia have launched a new MX certification. I'm still not sure of the value of this - I've never seen a job that required it (and wouldn't have taken much notice of it when I was hiring myself) but it could become more important as Flash moves further into the corporate area - suits always like a nice qualification ;) It can't do any harm to add it to your CV and at $150 it's not like your shelling out for a MSCE or anything. add comment:

Editing Actionscript in Dreamweaver MX I've only had a quick look at the new Dreamweaver but it looks very impressive - far more of an IDE than previous version. The great thing for Flash coders is that it is Actionscript aware - open an AS file and you get code highlighting and hinting. Waldo Smeets has already produced an extension that installs the Actionscript dictionary in you DW enviroment and there's sure to be more Flash/Dreamweaver development in the pipeline. add comment:
The Register on Macromedia MX An overview of the whole MX product line and the strategy behind it. The Register is a great site, tech news with a bit of bite rather than a bunch of press releases strung together - I much prefer it to CNet etc. add comment:
