UK Holiday - Thank you Your Majesty!
OK, for those that didn't know, it's The Queens golden jubilee in the UK this weekend so we get 2 (that's 2) extra days off. I'm off down to Cornwall to chill for a few days so in the meantime keep up-to-date by checking Jarle, Mike and the other blogs while i'm away (I'd usually point you to Flashguru but he's off as well ;) Service will resume on Tuesday/Wednesday depending on amount of fun had...

PS. Last time I went down to Cornwall we visited the Eden Project, one of the better things to come out of the publicly funded millenium project. It's absolutely amazing, like stepping into something out of a sci-fi film (this is an oft used cliche, but this is one of the few times when it was actually true). Anyway, here's a couple of snaps I took (Pic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3) and if your ever in the vicinity I highly recommend you pay it a visit.

Fisheye Lense Component
How cool is this? A great component from Samel Wan demonstrating the advanced interface work that can be done with Flash - lots of great background reading as well. Can't wait to see what Sam has in store for us next - I imagine his Moveable Type front end is going to be full of goodies. ;)

OT: Celine Dion Killed My iMac!
Interesting in-depth article on the whole copy protected CD issue and how Ms. Dion can kill your iMac - personally I just think the computers got good taste ;) Also demonstrates the widely reported technique of using a magic marker to beat hi-tech copy protection. [via Scripting News]
