OT: Ice Oceans found on Mars Wow, what an amazing discovery and just as I'm feeling optimistic about space travel again (after my IMAX visit, see below.) Manned expeditions to Mars in the next decade don't seem out of the question now - I think the whole world could do with some good old fashioned space missions. For a long time I felt a little robbed of the visions of space I had as a kid, the whole world seemed to forget about making visionary plans and just concentrated on day to day stuff. Time to widen our minds and start exploring again, there's a whole universe out there :) add comment:

OT: No updates yesterday Because I had the day off... Went to the see the new IMAX film about the International Space Station and I highly recommend it. It really took me back to when I was a kid and everyone wanted to be an astronaut. We're still doing great things in orbit despite the politics, it's really a joy to see this type of film - a big hunk of metal flying through space and we (it's international remember ;) put it there.
I wonder how many kids want to be an astronaut when they grow up these days? This film might make it a top profession again ;) add comment:
