licentious radio

The first thing to do about elections is to move voting day to Sunday.

licentious radio is not alone: Lying Media Bastards. (Of course, licentious radio isn't really radio, but that's another story.)

My mother once had a parakeet that would say "Pretty Boy." I thought I would teach my parrot to say "Pretty Boy" (I'm pretty), but he won't do it. All he'll say is "Kenny Boy".
The judge upheld the Andersen verdict. "Kenny Boy." Charges filed against three Tyco execs. "Kenny Boy." Adelphia. "Kenny Boy." Qwest. "Kenny Boy." WorldCom. "Kenny Boy." Off-shore accounts. "Kenny Boy." Pension fund losses. "Kenny Boy."
I'm gettin' tired of hearing "Kenny Boy" all the time. Can we just throw ol' Kenny Boy in one of General Ashcroft's camps and give me some peace?

Saddam will produce 'Bush Dossier' [spin-on-this.com]: Saddam Hussein is to unveil a dossier of evidence proving George W Bush has weapons of mass destruction and is itching to use them. The dossier also reveals that Bush is NOT elected but is in fact a corporate puppet installed after a right wing coup. The dossier provides incontrovertible evidence that unless the USA is invaded immediately and a regime change affected - the world can never be a safe place. The dossier doesn?t make comfortable reading for Dick Cheney either, who - along with the rest of the Bush administration - is revealed to be knee deep in corporate fraud and eager to send Americans to die to help take the heat off.

BUSH ADDS QATAR TO 'AXIS OF MISSPELLING' [borowitzreport.com]: "You can either insert a 'u' after the 'q' in your name and join the community of correctly-spelled nations," Mr. Bush said, "or you can face the full might and resolve of the United States of America."

What is democracy? Democracy is accountability. The constitution of the United States is about insuring accountability and individual rights. Democracy is specifically *not* a "tyranny of the majority". The "majority" is usually not disposed toward democracy.
What is the W. administration about? W. may be dim, but he's got the United States wired: in fact, the administration in the United States is only as accountable as it wants to be. Consider Thomas White. The appearance of impropriety is as strong as the smell of carp rotting on a summer day. There's even an anonymous quote from a Bush staffer that Bush told White that his job was to keep the media off of Bush.
Man, that was back in the day. Now, White isn't even a pimple on the appearance of corruption of the Bushlettes. As long as the Bushlettes own the media, and the Democrats bide their time, Dim W. can get away with anything.
