It had been a long time since a Palestinian suicide-bomber struck. There was some headway in negotiations for peace. Red Alert! Thank goodness for civilian Israeli Jewish terrorists -- blowing up children in a school. That's just the excuse the Palestinian suicide bombers need to get going again. And a couple of suicide bombings are just the excuse Sharon needs to derail negotiations again. "No justice until there is absolute capitulation" shrieks the gargoyle of war atrocities past.
Provoking suicide-bomber attacks will also help Bush get his war on. You can hear the gargoyle's heavy breathing -- lustful excitement at the opportunity to expel all the Palestinians. All it takes is one good strike from Iraq, and a little luck with the media, and all the land and the rest of the water will be back to its "rightful owners".

It's banned book week at Kepler's. On display: a dictionary, a poem, a Dr. Seuss book, etc.
Taking our licentiousness seriously, we suggest that censorship be categorized as treason. Proponents of censorship and any limits on freedom of speech should be declared enemy combatants. These terror attacks against the American principles of freedom will not stand. The evil-doers will know no rest; we will hunt them to the ends of the Earth and beyond.

So the New York Times managed to write an editorial about prior knowledge of potential terrorist strikes without mentioning that Clinton's team worked *hard* and successfully to fight Bin Laden, but Bush/Cheney put Cheney in charge and dropped the whole business -- until it was too late. They also failed to mention that what Cheney was doing instead of fighting terrorism, was changing energy policy to make his buds richer. They also failed to mention the clear evidence of a cover-up at the highest levels -- Cheney, Rice, and Bush have all explicitly implied that they didn't have information that they actually had.
Bush and Cheney should resign for failing to protect American lives, and for covering up their failure .
