 This morning I had to do one of the worst things in the whole world. I had Jasper, my best buddy of eighteen years, put to sleep.
I miss him so much. I can't imagine being without him. He's been my loyal and true friend for virtually my entire adult life. He was such a sweetheart, and so loving. He was even purring at the end at the vet's office.
I am just so bereft.

Check out David Sifry's Technorati site. They've developed a very cool tool called Cosmos:
Cosmos allows you to find what's new in the blogging universe, and find out who's linking to whom. Simply type in a URL of a blog, website, or interesting article on the web, and Cosmos will tell you which bloggers are linking to the URL.
The Slat Rat Chronicles are very popular with Niek and a few others. What is interesting is that I was blog rolled by Dave Winer last week and that didn't show up. I bet there's a staleness filter - anything over a week old is not included.
