The Ski Boy and the Slat Rat have just returned from yet another fabulous dinner in Seattle. Restaurant du Soir was Wild Ginger - an old favorite and the best Asian Fusion around. A total Yum!!!!

Tonight's wine (from which I'm delightfully looped - although the Ski Boy would disagree with the adjective delightfully) was an extremely nice French Bandol Rhone - 1998 Domain du Gros Nore. An extraordinarily well made wine - blended to perfection with a very nice spice. It was a total delight to drink and very well priced at $42 bottle in a restaurant. Can anyone do perfect wines better than the French?

Oooohhhh - my poor foots. They've museumed, walked, and shopped all day. However, they shouldn't feel too bad - they got two new pairs of shoes at REI. Oh boy!!!!

Peter and I definitely did our best to support the local Seattle economy today. In particular, the Experience Music Project gift shop (GREAT gift shop - always a plus museum-wise), REI, and Nordstrom's did well.

Mom - mission accomplished on the Lowell front - in spades!

Another busy day here touristing in Seattle. We did the Experience Music Project (founded by Paul Allen, building designed by Frank Geary). A complete blast. I totally recommend it.

Phil, this picture to the left is for you!

The special disco exhibit was a hoot. That was my era - who knew it was so socially explosive.
