We had a great wine at Gisene's last night: Evolution by Sokol Blosser Winery. A spectacular blended white wine - lots of great acid with just the right amount of sweet. Evidently, it is blended with nine (!) grapes. They did a great job - totally yummy and very drinkable (especially at an alcohol content of just 11.5% - perfect for us wimpy Slat Rats).
Too bad it's so rare. We'll never actually find it in a store.

This is soooooooo true - especially for us Chronic Fatigue types!
Note: I wish the New Yorker had a program for us bloggers that would allow access to their cartoons at a reasonable price. Because they charge $60 a pop, if a humble blogger wants to use a New Yorker cartoon, one either does not use it or steals it (with a little effort) like I just did.

So I have it straight from 'Dave' at the National Weather Service:
This past November was the warmest November since weather record keeping began in Anchorage in 1917. The previous warmest November was in 1979.
I just know we're gonna have a green Christmas.
