I am now ensconced at the very luxurious Comfort Inn in Winfield, Kansas. Don't laugh - the room is clean and quiet. I am sooooo tired and totally ready to snooze.
Flying from Anchorage to anywhere Outside other than Seattle or Portland is the equivalent of International Travel. Long long day - punctuated by a major burst of sprinting across the entire Minneapolis airport - over a mile to get from gate F6 to A8 in 15 minutes. Our flight was two hours late out of Anchorage - hence the Minneapolis dash.
As is now usual for me, I rented an In Motion DVD player in Anchorage and spent the five hour flight watching two surprisingly good movies: White Oleander and - don't laugh - The Wild Thornberry's Movie - I can't help it - I love good animation and cartoons. More than once, my psychiatrist has commented that I am basically an eleven year old. I'm sure regular readers of this blog see some truth in his assessment.
