Oh man - what an ending to the basketball game! The second half was everything the first half wasn't. But Kansas just couldn't sink their free throws. Sethy - I haven't seen Roy crying yet. And by the way - you missed out on a bet you probably would have taken. UPDATE: okay okay - Roy is tearing up now in the postgame interview. But I think that shows that he's a very sensitive guy. I got a pair of these yesterday! I'm so excited - I haven't had a pair of cowboy boots since the pair my Grandmother gave me when I was six years old. I picked up my boots in Wichita at Shepler's the world's best Western Store. I've been going to Shepler's since before I was born. And every year, we'd go there in the late summer to get school clothes. My boots are so darn nifty! 7:22:56 PM    comment []

Syracuse is now killing Kansas 30-17. The Orangemen look like a pro team. Kansas looks like, well, not a good team. And they seem totally incapable of defensive rebounding. 5:40:53 PM    comment []

I'm parked on the couch with the Ski Boy, Clemmie, and a great glass of wine watching the Kansas - Syracuse game. Life is good. Well sort of good. As I type, Syracuse is leading 20 to 12 and they look great. Better than Kansas. I may end up owing Sethy a bottle of wine. sigh... About the wine - it's a Wolf Blass Black Label which in 1998 was a Cabernet Sauvignon. A really smooth mature wine. Dark black cherry flavors. Full bodied. 5:37:03 PM    comment []
