I'm slightly wistful this evening. I wish the Ski Boy and I were going to wake up tomorrow morning and head off to the Chagall exhibition at SFMoMA like we did last Sunday.

I do have to say that I am glad that we're not flying back to Anchorage from San Francisco like we did last Sunday evening.

Well, check out the Slat Rat Bookpile links off to the right. I finally got around to bringing my list up to date. My top book of the year is The Life of Pi. It was so fabulous that it immediately jumped into my all time top ten. Just incredibly well written, sweet natured, magical, inventive, and supremely intelligent.

Whew. Today was definitely a CFS day. I didn't get out of bed until 11:45 AM and crawled back in under the covers for a few more hours this afternoon. I am just slammed. I think my ten day cross country trip finally caught up with me.

For the past six weeks, during the deck and roof reconstruction, Peter and I have no idea what will greet us when we come home at lunch time. Yesterday, for example, this contraption was in our driveway.

Actually this truck is totally cool. I want one!
