We are a cautiously pleased household - the Bosmos (aka Bosox, aka Red Sox) won their first game in their five game series with the Angels. However, we refuse to move beyond cautiously pleased. Anything can happen in a five game series.
And of course, we are also cautiously pleased that the Yankees lost!

Again, I didn't muster up the courage to watch the debates. It's my guess that I won't be able to watch a single debate. I think I'm bad luck - as soon as I tune in, things starting going downhill for my team/guy. It happens all the time on the sports front!P>
Based on the morning after punditry, it doesn't appear as if I missed anything crucial. Salon's headline was Down, dirty, and dull.
It will be interesting to see what the campaign spinmeisters do with it. However, they don't have much time to operate before the Friday presidential debate.
