Almost every Friday, Peter and I have a celebratory End-of-Week dinner at Sack's. Tonight, downtown Anchorage was just dead. Parking spots galore.
During dinner, Patrick - the maitre de cum bartender, made an interesting observation. He said that business has just died during each of the three debates. Evidently, the Sack's clientele is very engaged politically.

So, the Bosmos broomed out the poor Angels. On to the American League Championship Series. And it looks as if it's going to be a rematch of last year's ALCS: BoSox vs. Yankees.
I may have to move out for the next week. The Ski Boy is going to be on the ragged edge for this one!

Do I work for a great company or what?!
We're in the midst of rolling out a new cellular partnership with Cellular One. Our customer service and network folks are coming up to speed on GSM/GPRS products, provisioning, activation, etc. As a part of the ramp up, we're doing a soft launch with 20 employees - and I'm one of the lucky 20!
I selected a Motorola V600 as my phone. I know Joe had a crummy experience with the V400, but unfortunately a Treo 600 was not one of my phone options. It was either Nokia or Motorola. I'm not a Nokia fan and I've had good luck with my old Moto phone. So, the V600 was the winner.
My new phone has a camera (of course), bluetooth, web browsing, video, etc. I think I'm going to have a total blast with the V600.
