Peter, Snowman, and I joined the rest of the Far From Fenway Fan Club at Humpy's for Game 3 of the World Series.
We had a blast. And now I'm so hoarse, I can hardly talk.
We cheered on every single Red Sox play in the field - after their two four error games, they need lots of encouragement. We cheered as Manny (Manny?!) made that great throw to nail Larry Walker at the plate. We cheered as the Cardinal's poor Jeff Suppan got all bamboozled on the base paths and was thrown out at 3rd (by Papi!) when he should have scored. We cheered Pedro on as he pitched a three hitter over seven innnings - a true gem. We even cheered helpfully as Pedro took his at-bats.
So, we're just hanging on. No chicken-before-hatching counting going on here.
