iVillage.com system taken offline after problem revealed Women who logged on Thursday to iVillage.com, a Web site network devoted to women, found not only the typical discussions on breast-feeding and children but other people's private messages as well, prompting fears that their own personal comments might be revealed. Each time the site's users logged on, they saw a different person's messages. "I tried about seven or eight times and each time got a different users inbox, including someone I recognized from another message board at Parents Place," one of iVillage's Web sites, said Laurie Clark of Fenton, Michigan. A passenger attempting to board a flight to London was arrested Thursday after a gun was found in the passenger's carry-on luggage, the airline said. The passenger was passing through a security checkpoint at Vasteras Airport when the gun was found prior to boarding, said Ryanair, an Irish budget airline. The passenger, whose name was not immediately released, was trying to catch Ryanair Flight FR685 to London. The flight had 189 passengers booked on it, the airline said. "cnn" 6:53:14 PM

One of the Sept. 11 hijackers boasted that he would kill thousands in an attack on the World Trade Center nearly a year and a half before he crashed an airplane into the south tower, Germany's chief prosecutor revealed Thursday. "There will be thousands of dead. You will all think of me," Marwan Al-Shehhi, a member of a Hamburg terror cell, told a librarian in April or May of 2000. Outlining the Hamburg cell's role in the Sept. 11 attacks in the greatest detail yet, chief German prosecutor Key Nehm said the hijackers knew by October 1999 they would attack the United States with airplanes - but said the idea likely originated elsewhere in the al-Qaida network.
