KaZaA is a major thorn in the sides of the music and motion picture industries. Since KaZaA is not located in the U.S., it is hard to get them into U.S. courts. They're going to try anyway [here]. There are a couple of big issues that need to be tackled. What jurisdiction do U.S. laws have on the Internet? Does a company that does not actually infringe copyright laws, but makes it possible have a liability?
