Fair use defended
Fair use--your right to use the copy of copyrighted material that you've purchased in a way that's convenient to you, as long as you don't redistribute it--has come under fire from the dinosaurs in Hollywood. The Electronic Freedom Foundation (eff.org) works to defend that right, and originated the phrase "Fair Use Has a Posse" to put on bumper stickers. (Glenn F. notes that some folks think he made it up.) If you value your rights under existing law, make a contribution.
