Santa Cruz STC

The first-ever meeting of a sub-chapter of the Silicon Valley STC happens this Tuesday night. We're meeting at Peachwood's, just off Highway 17 between Santa Cruz and Scott's Valley--a convenient location for commuters on their way home from over the hill.

The presentation is a repeat of Michelle Carey's excellent talk on "Better English for Better Translation." Michelle touches on grammar issues that impact translation, as well as style issues (word choice) that can be confusing or even untranslatable.

Join us if you're in the vicinity; we'll have a tasty dinner, good company, and a bit of tech writing education. More info and reservations here.
