Microsoft Government Solutions Tom Braman refers to Microsoft's First Annual Government Solution Awards.  Obviously, these revolve around .Net and other Microsoft-based systems.  We have a few here in Utah, like our eRules online system, but I doubt if anything was submitted for these awards.  An interesting service is MyBuildingPermit.com developed by the city of Bellevue, WA (I used to live there) in conjunction with the surrounding communities of Kirkland, Bothell, Kenmore, Issaquah, Mercer Island, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, and Woodinville.  I love to see this kind of regional cooperation.  Missing from the list is Redmond, the actual home to Microsft.  Microsoft sent this message yesterday to the Federal government as the consider innovation policy. 7:09:14 AM    comment []
