First Blogger and now Movable Type ... money moves into blogs.

Although I'm an established Radio user, MT is a very nice (but not perfect) tool. Radio is also a nice, but not perfect tool. It will be interesting to see the TypePad variation -- many little things were broken on MT.

I hope Radio gets an update one of these days it (particularly the Mac version) is getting long in the tooth - I use other tools for updating my blog these days...

The University of Washington has a webcast (in windows media player format) on OS X for Unix users from a lecture by Bud Tribble.

Visual blogging is starting to take off - Fotolog is a great example of the trend. One of the more bizarre corners is someone who documents meals...

There is something very interesting here - I would imagine that camphones will play into this as they improve in quality.

It will be interesting to see if other artforms begin to take blog form - I would be particularly interested in a music blog from a composer (Tom?), new work from dancers, etc... Snips of time rather than complete pieces. It may or may not work, but it might be fun.

A marketing factoid for you (at least I was unaware of it) .. something is considered mass market when it reaches 22% penetration. digital cameras are very close to that number at this point.

The referenced survey appears to have been prepared for people who have an interest in getting people to print images.
