.NET Server 2003 for Developers

A pointer regarding the forthcoming .NET Server 2003 - it's finicky about hardware (I had to change my Ethernet card as it wasn't HAL-compliant), failing to do so gives you the 'Super Blue Screen of Death'. There are other features that'll whet the developer's appetite - .NET Framework (including ASP.NET) is built-in, super security in AD deployment & IIS,  interface to MS Passport (for commerical apps), UDDI services (track all those *GWS) and more. Two other notable features worth exploring - fast-streaming and *BITS. The latter is  'Background Intelligent Transfer Service' and it gives a new meaning to term 'file transfer'. .NET Server 2003 comes in four editions - this server is more evolutionary than NT 3.51 (those who remember).
