Web Services Security moves forward

The security imperative in web services moved forward with an industry-wide review and hopefully, acceptance of standards and policies [Business Week]. Heading this standardization process is Microsoft and IBM. These include - WS-Trust, WS-SecureConversation, WS-SecurityPolicy, WS-Policy, WS-PolicyAttachment and WS-PolicyAssertions. Microsoft has released Web Services Enhancements that comply with the new security specifications.
