A conversation with Ray Ozzie. Ray Ozzie, founder, chairman, and CEO of Groove Networks, has been a creator and harnesser of disruptive technology since the dawn of the client/server age. In a conversation with InfoWorld Test Center Director Steve Gillmor and Lead Analyst Jon Udell, Ozzie discusses the unique nature of disruptive technologies, the role of collaboration tools in the workplace, and the emerging law of unintended consequences. [Full story at InfoWorld.com] ... [Jon's Radio]

Great interview.  Ozzie talks about bringing disparate or disruptive technologies together to be more productive.  His example is using Groove tools to knit together a productive, collaborative environment.  He also talks about some interesting uses of Groove toward the end of the article like as an alternate communication channel during meetings or interviewing new hires.

I went to get my eyes checked and purchase some new glasses today.  This is going to sound really "old" of me, but I'm really jazzed about the discount I got at Lenscrafters.  Aparently if you are an AAA member (yes, I am and yes, I know it sounds really old), you get a 30% discount on a complete pair of glasses or 20% on just lenses!!  WOW!

So, when you go to Lenscrafters, be sure to show them your AAA card.
