Script to Implement Red-Eye Removal Technique. Here's a script that helps remove red eye from flash photos, using the technique described in the February issue of LJ. [Linux Journal]
DAMN! This is SO timely. I was just retouching photos 2 nights ago and praying for a freakin' automated way to do it in the Gimp. I can't wait to get home and try this.

PC Mag: "One of the big stories to come out of this year's CES is the approaching availability of 802.11g, which promises 54-Mbps wireless connectivity." [Scripting News]
Unless I'm mistaken, Apple is already supporting this in the latest version of Apple Airport.

Eddies in the space-time continuum. The cite tag will return in XHTML 2.0 draft 4. Meanwhile, I have already migrated back to HTML 4, which (I am not making this up) has caused some major CSS compatibility problems in Internet Explorer. It appears that I am trapped like a velvet, paisley-covered Chesterfield in a hallway: unable to go either forwards or backwards. (100 words) [dive into mark]
Wow, Mark's got some serious beefs with the W3C and web standards. I feel his pain. Following a standard doesn't mean everyone else will, nor does it mean that the creators of the standard have your back.
Be sure to read his "well-linked rant". It makes me angry, too.

Yes, I'm passing along a click-through for an ad. But, the product is hilarious. Saw these T-shirts on the Register.

Emacs Sources
tsql-indent.el
This is an indentation function for SQL mode. It was written with Transact SQL in mind.
user-add-sql-folding-marks
This is a simple function that adds folding-mode marks to SQL sources. It is quick and dirty, but is fairly useful for me.
remove-line-boundary-in-region
This function removes all the line boundaries in a region. This, in effect, collapses all the lines in the region onto one line.
convert-camel-to-underscore
This function converts all the text that is camel cased in a particular region to underscore separated text.
