Independent: "One of the country's most senior former military commanders has called for Tony Blair to be impeached for sending British troops to join the US led invasion of Iraq on 'false grounds'.
General Sir Michael Rose, who led United Nations forces in Bosnia, said the Prime Minister should not be allowed to 'walk away' from misleading Parliament."

Scotsman: "A political row over the sending of up to 1,400 troops from the Netherlands to Afghanistan was threatening to topple the Dutch government last night.
The cabinet says it supports the deployment of a NATO force in the spring, but it has had to seek approval from a strongly divided parliament at the insistence of the Democrats 66."
