MiamiHerald: "Google saves every search, every e-mail, every fingerprint we leave on the Web when we move through its Google search engine, its G-mail service or its fast-growing collection of Internet offerings. Google knows more about us that than FBI or the CIA or the NSA or any spy agency of any government. And nobody regulates it. When a company that holds digital dossiers on millions of people decides that profits are more important than principles, we are all at risk.

Neither Yahoo nor Microsoft claim to have higher ethical standards than the competition. The often-stated desire to 'do good' and make the world a better place was one of the traits that endeared Google to the public. It was one of the reasons we trusted them to guard the precious and valuable contents of their thousands of servers."

MailonSunday: "A White House leak revealing astonishing details of how Tony Blair and George Bush lied about the Iraq war is set to cause a worldwide political storm.
A new book exposes how the two men connived to dupe the United Nations and blows the lid off Mr Blair's claim that he was a restraining influence on Mr Bush.
Based on access to information at the highest level, the book by leading British human rights lawyer Philippe Sands QC, Professor of Law at London University, demonstrates how the two men decided to go to war regardless of whether they obtained UN backing."

WashingtonPost: "Congress has granted unusual authority for the Pentagon to spend as much as $200 million of its own budget to aid foreign militaries, a break with the traditional practice of channeling foreign military assistance through the State Department."

LATimes: "Despite protests from other countries, the United States is expanding a top-secret effort to kill suspected terrorists with drone-fired missiles as it pursues an increasingly decentralized Al Qaeda, U.S. officials say."

Observer: "A British technology company and a secretive airforce base in Cambridgeshire are playing a key role in the CIA's use of robot Predator planes, deployed to assassinate suspected terrorists overseas."

MosNews: "On the pretext of fighting international terrorism the United States is trying to establish control over the world's richest oil reserves, Leonid Shebarshin, ex-chief of the Soviet Foreign Intelligence Service, said.
Using the anti-terrorist cause as a cover the United States has occupied Afghanistan, Iraq and will soon move to impose their 'democratic order' on the Greater Middle East, Shebarshin said. 'The U.S. has usurped the right to attack any part of the globe on the pretext of fighting the terrorist threat,' Shebarshin said."

MSNBC: Those who try to rein in the president's power in the war on terror, even loyal conservatives, and Bush appointees, were removed from the administration.

Now it's up to the people of America to reclaim their country and demand that Bush step down.

Slashdot: "According to the Lowell Sun, U.S. Rep Marty Meehan's staff has been heavily editing his Wikipedia bio, among other things removing criticisms. In total, more than one thousand Wikipedia edits in various articles have been traced back to congressional staffers at the U.S. House of Representatives in the past six months."

Wikipedia: "143.231.249.141: This IP has been blocked. It belongs to Information Systems, U.S. House of Representatives and is responsible for a large amount of vandalism."

Comment from Meehan.
